Welcome to the Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC), India’s leading non-government, not-for-profit public charitable trust dedicated to the promotion and development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through clusters and value chains. Established with technical support from the UNIDO Cluster Development Programme and the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), FMC has been at the forefront of empowering MSMEs across the country.
We provide cutting-edge policy and research support for cluster development, with 35 scholarly publications and customized methodologies focused on competitiveness, poverty alleviation, innovation, sustainable development, and cluster twinning. Our comprehensive training and capacity-building programs significantly enhance the capabilities of MSMEs and other stakeholders. We lead initiatives to generate employment, alleviate poverty, enhance competitiveness, create wealth, promote a green economy, and mitigate climate change. We encourage Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) to create contemporary products and establish market linkages, both physical and virtual. Additionally, we support cluster-specific common infrastructure to build resilience, connect enterprises with markets, and provide ongoing management support.
Our efforts span across India, driven by a diverse and specialized team of experts in management, finance, economics, agriculture, sustainable development, engineering, design, sales, and marketing.
